Imagine you have a project calculation from last year, which you'd like to update with the latest price list prices. This normally would involve a tedious process involving the identification of all outdated price occurrences and updating them one by one with current values. This potentially work-intensive and error-prone process can be performed in a simple fashion in ChemProject:



To do this, first switch to the Source Data section and open the project you'd like to update. Then select the Synchronize Prices menu item of the Tools menu (main toolbar). The appearing Price Synchronization dialog lists all materials with prices differing from the current price list(s). Multiple occurrences of the same material in the project is summarized in one single list entry.



Select the materials you'd like to update. After clicking the Update button, all selected materials are assigned the new prices and the project is recalculated accordingly.
